We've built a completely switched network using only the highest quality equipment and network providers. Each of our servers connects to our world-class network, and provides some serious bandwidth.
Our internal network uses 100% Cisco network equipment. Each machin on our network has a switched 100Mbps Fast Ethernet connection to our Cisco switching equipment
Network Connection
Our servers are located in a Texas data-center facility and have the following Carrier Backbone connectivity:
- 1 Gbps Direct Fiber - MCI/UUNET
- 1 Gbps Direct Fiber - Time Warner
- 1 Gbps Direct Fiber - Level 3
- 1 Gbps Direct Fiber - Verio
- 1 Gbps Direct Fiber - Global Crossing
- 2 Gbps Direct Fiber - Allegiance Telecom
- 2 Gbps Direct Fiber - AboveNet
- 1 Gbps Direct Fiber - Sprint
- 1 Gbps Direct Fiber - AT&T
- 1 Gbps Direct Fiber - Broadwing
Remote Console and Power Management
Each and every piece of network equipment, wether it be a switch, a server, or another device, is connected to our network Baytech RPC Remote Power Control units. All our gear is also connected to Baytech DS series remote console access units. This provides us with the complete out-of-brand network and dial-in access to our equipment at the power and colsole level.
Simply put: we can turn on/off the power to a server remotely and access the server's BIOS via console access. We can even do this if the machine doesn't boot properly. This minimizes the administration response time.
Elevation's network and management infrastructure is world-class in performance, reliability and scalability.
